  1. INTRODUCTION

  3. Thank you for evaluating our software product.  This
  4. program is actively being maintained.  The product
  5. was thoroughly tested; however, like all software, some 
  6. minor 'bugs' and irritants will inevitably be uncovered 
  7. with its widespread use.  As coding errors and problems 
  8. are reported to us, we will correct them and we will
  9. release regular updates of the software.  If you 
  10. discover a problem, however small, please let us know 
  11. so that we can fix it. If you send us an emal message, 
  12. we will advise you, if and by when the error can be fixed,
  13. or whether it has already been fixed in the latest version.
  14. Upon registration, a master diskette with the latest 
  15. software will be supplied.

  25. MANUAL, USER GUIDE

  27. If your registered version of the software includes a 
  28. print file of the User Guide (and no printed hard copy),
  29. you can print the manual on any Windows compatible printer.
  30. Open the Windows Write program, open the MANUAL.WRI file
  31. (located in the application's directory), and print the
  32. file.

  35. IMPORTANT
  36.  
  37. The program includes a WINSOCK.DLL file.  This is a 
  38. null file that must be left in the Webpen directory.  
  39. DO NOT move or copy this file to the Windows\System 
  40. or other directory where it could overwrite your main 
  41. Winsock.dll.

  44. INSTALLATION AND SETUP
  45.  
  46. 1.  Start Windows.
  47. 2.  Open the Program Manager.
  48. 3.  From the File menu, choose Run.
  49. 4.  In the Command Line type one of the following:
  50.     -  If the software is on a diskette, type A:\SETUP
  51.        (assuming your floppy drive is A:).
  52.     -  If the extracted software is on the hard disk,
  53.         type C:\DIRECTORY\SETUP (where DIRECTORY is
  54.         the actual directory that holds the software
  55.         files).
  56. 5.  Choose OK.
  57. 6.  Follow the prompts.

  61. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE VBRUN300.DLL
  62.  
  63. This program requires the VBRUN300.DLL file. If you 
  64. do not already have this file in your Windows\System 
  65. directory, obtain a free copy of the file from your 
  66. online service, BBS or distributor.

  69. OLE FILES FOR WORD SPELLER
  70.  
  71. If you use the MS Word spellchecker, the following files 
  72. should exist in the Windows\System directory:
  73.  
  74. COMPOBJ.DLL, MSOLE2.VBX, MSOLEVBX.DLL, OLE2.REG, OLE2.DLL,
  75. OLE2CONV.DLL, OLE2DISP.DLL, OLE2NLS.DLL, OLE2PROX.DLL,
  76. STORAGE.DLL,VBOA300.DLL.  Most of these file will already 
  77. be on your machine.  If the files are missing, copy 
  78. them from the registered software diskette, or contact 
  79. Informatik Inc.

  81. You also need to make sure that the OLE 2.0 is registered 
  82. on your machine and that the SHARE.EXE is installed in 
  83. your AUTOEXEC.BAT file (the SHARE.EXE is not required if
  84. you use Windows for Workgroups).  The OLE 2.0 is registered 
  85. with the following command line: REGEDIT /S OLE2.REG.

  90. The physical diskette and documentation of this software product is
  91. warranted to be free of defects of materials and workmanship for a
  92. period of 30 days from the date of receipt.  If you notify us of
  93. such a defect within the warranty period, Informnatik Inc will
  94. replace the defective materials at no cost to you.

  117. only in a STATE or FEDERAL COURT of competent jurisdiction 
  118. located in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  The parties hereby
  119. consent to in personam jurisdiction of said courts.

  125. Informatik Inc.  All rights are reserved, and the use of the software
  126. is expressly prohibited, except as authorized by the terms of this
  127. agreement.

  129. Informatik Inc. authorizes you to make archival copies of this
  130. software for the sole purpose of back-up and protecting your investment
  131. from loss.  Under no circumstances may you copy this software or
  132. documentation for the purpose of distribution to others.  Under no
  133. circumstances may you remove the copyright notices made part of the
  134. software or documentation.

  137. systems as that person uses.  We expect that group programming projects
  138. making use of this software will purchase a copy of the software and
